(CNN) — Demetrious Johnson is well known for his fast hands at the ring, but when the gloves come off his fingers are pretty nimble also.
“Mighty Mouse”Johnson left UFC to get ONE Championship in 2018 and as part of his move became the face of their newest esports venture.
The prior UFC flyweight winner has had a longstanding endorsement using Microsoft Xbox and is a Twitch streamer, a hardcore gamer.
“Esports as a whole has come on leaps and bounds from when it started,” Johnson told CNN Sport’s Patrick Snell.
“At the start, people were like’no one’s going to see someone else play video games. It’s completely absurd. I’m not likely to get it done .’
“But now you have companies like Twitch and Mixer that are generating so much earnings with advertisement revenue from such remarkable streamer personalities.
“A great deal of Some Championship’s fans are millennials and millennials love gaming. I love gaming so I was like’yeah I completely support this.'”

A new Sector
While One Championship has come to be the”biggest global sports media property in history,” they’ve yet been able to move that dominance into the rest of the world.
After returning to this iconic Ry??goku Kokugikan in Tokyo in October to their 100th live event, One Championship is looking to penetrate the North America marketplace.
The business has signed up a broadcast bargain with TNT, meaning although programs are set up for a series in New York to get 2020, a portion of their shows are streamed on B/R Live.
