Former Tipperary goalkeeper Darren Gleeson has been named as the Antrim casting director.
Two All-Ireland titles were gained by the Portroe club guy with the Premier County during his acting career, beginning between the posts from 2016.
Throughout the 2019 season, he joined the Antrim hurling set-up in a coaching capacity.
“Darren Gleeson has probably brought a specialist approach to our set up,” Saffrons celebrity Neil McManus told Sky Sports at the beginning of the summer.
“We are better prepared than we were formerly, and he has brought his insights from becoming a former All-Ireland winner together Tipperary in our changing area, and that could only be a benefit to people.”
Gleeson will be expecting to lead the Ulster county in 2020 into Joe McDonagh Cup victory.
Outgoing manager Neal Pedan will become the county’s first Manager of Hurling.
Meanwhile, the football boss Lenny Harbison of the Saffron County has been ratified for the season ahead.
