Inter Milan replacement Nicolo Barella scored a stoppage-time equaliser to deny Slavia Prague only their second Champions League group win.
It was Stefan p Vrij and Danilo D’Ambrosio who went close although the side have reached the group stage for the next time.
Yet the lead was deserved by Slavia when the scoring opened.
But early in the eight minutes of time, Barella struck the crossbar.
Slavia goalkeeper Ondrej Kolar produced a fine reflex save to keep out a Romelu Lukaku header right at the end, although the flag had gone up for offside.
Champions Inter should have taken the lead while fellow defender D’Ambrosio headed straight at Kolar with De Vrij heading over.
Inter striker Lautaro Martinez also shot wide in the first half while protagonist Samir Handanovic was blessed to be awarded a free-kick after being caught in possession within his own six-yard box by Nigerian forwards Olayinka, 23.
Kolar blocked a close-range shot at the start of the second half by Martinez, and Slavia replied as Nicolae Stanciu tested Handanovic using a 20-yard strike before firing over from a range.
The Czech winners subsequently made a fine move down the right, leading in Olayinka cutting back the ball to Jaroslav Zeleny, also although the substitute for low shot was spared by Handanovic in his near post, Olayinka fired the rebound.
Lukas Masopust spurned a fantastic opportunity to double Slavia’s guide because he fired and a leveller was barely jeopardized by Inter until Cagliari midfielder Barella volleyed to the floor and the ball bounced through a bunch of figures and into the Slavia internet.
