NASCAR at Watkins Glen: Vegas odds, fantasy advice, prediction, sleepers, drivers to watch

The Big 3 will look to keep their dominance as NASCAR heads into the second road-course race of this season: the GoBowling in the Glen 220.

While Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. are the favorites once more, on this 2.45-mile track at Watkins Glen there are certain to be a couple of drivers, that you might not anticipate, threatening the leaders.

AJ Allmendinger has just two top-10 finishes this season, however using four top-10s in his last five races at the Glen such as a win in 2014, he will be at or near the top all day long as his competitive nature plays nicely on those road courses – even when Watkins Glen isn’t as technically challenging as Sonoma.

Denny Hamlin might not be quite the exact same sort of sleeper selection as Allmendinger, but with five top-10 endings – including four in the top 5 in his past five road-course races – that the 37-year-old has to be optimistic that he can grab his first win of this season in New York on Sunday.
