Last week, NASCAR hosted its biggest event of this year at the Daytona 500, and it had been about as unpredictable as one can expect.Denny Hamlin, a man called a king of the restrictor-plate races, took home the win as a massive crash knocked out a huge portion of the area down the stretch.
As intermediate racing starts this week in Atlanta Motor Speedway, there will be sins on the track.
Kevin Harvick is the clear favored at 4/1 chances with two career wins on the track and eight top-10 finishes in his last 10 races there. While Busch also includes five top 10s in his last 10 races and two wins at AMS Joey Logano and kyle Busch both have 6/1 odds. Logano has four finishes, although no wins.
And while Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski can get lost in the shuffle, they’re more than formidable in Georgia.
This week, so who wins? Kyle Larson is due for a win, although it might be foolish to choose against Harvick. The 26-year-old went with a win last season, but Atlanta could be the spot for him. Larson includes three top-10 finishes and another place finish in five career races at AMS.
