REMINDER

Please shovel the snow from your driveway and sidewalk to your front door.  It is so hard to get your door with all the snow and it is very dangerous.  It is in your lease that you will shovel snow within 12 hours of snow fall, so please take care of it as soon as possible.  Thanks to all those who have shoveled the snow in the freezing cold temperatures.

 

CRAWL SPACES

Crawl Space checks will be Monday, February 4 beginning at 10 AM.

Please have your garage door open and your crawl space easily accessible. Items should not be stored on or around the access door on the garage floor.

 If you have any questions please call the office.

We have touch up paint in the office if your doors or baseboards need to be touched up.  It makes such a difference to brighten up the house. Bring a container.

We are having a Valentine’s Door Decorating contest.  Have your Front door decorated by Wednesday, February 12 so we can come judge.  We will also have voting in the office. Thanks!

 

 


FYI

We are Continuing to do

some preventative

Maintenance on all the units. I will put notice on your door when it is your month to have it done.  We will drain your water heater, check your doors and screens, lube your garage

door and a few other

Things.

 

The Crows are moving in and they are getting into trash cans so please remember to make sure your garbage can lid closes when you put it out.  You are responsible to pick up any trash that is scattered on the street from your trash can.  Also, it is about the time of year that Crows start making nests on roofs, so watch for that and please let us know if you notice them starting to build one.

 

Cleaning Tip of the Month:

Did you know you can put all the removable stuff like your trays and burners from your stove top in the oven when you self-clean your oven?   It will burn off all that greasy residue that is impossible to scrub off.  Try this trick and call the office to let me know how it works for you and I will enter you in for a drawing.  If anyone has a cleaning trick they would like to share please submit it to me and I will get it in a newsletter.

Inspection Winner

 

The last couple of months the owners have let me pick a few tenants from the inspections that I feel have done a great job at keeping their home up to the standard of the property and enter them into a drawing for a gift card.  December’s winner is Dan and Kyli Scherbel.  Thanks for all you do to make Sunset Ridge a great place to live.

We are going to be having some activities as a property and I have heard a lot of people talking about races.  I thought a community 5 K would be fun this summer.  Start to get in shape now.  This will be a family event that will be fun for everyone.

 

 

 

 

Your Christmas décor and lights should be down, if they are not please get them down ASAP or you will be issued a lease violation.  Also remove all Christmas trees from the property. Thanks!!

 

BACK YARD BUSHES

Mark is still working on trimming back bushes and trees.   Please have your backyard cleared and picked up so he can drag all the trimmings out easier.  Also pick up any trash that is in the bushes.  He is on 700 West and you should be able to tell about when it will be your turn, so be prepared.  Thanks!

 

 

 

If you have insulation around your water heater please check and make sure it is cut up at least 6 inches so that oxygen can get to the flame or it will go out and you will not have very much hot water.  Let me know if you have qny questions.  Thanks!
